getting back to my Passion

December –  a time for fun filled evenings with family, holiday celebrations, snowy days, relaxing time at home with your hubby by the fireplace… And a super fun blog challenge! I have not been good or consistent at blogging so I am going to try to stick with it. Here it comes!

Week 1 – Passion.

A few days ago I decided to start something many of others have done and redone before – the 365 challenge. I know I am late to the bandwagon, I have thought of doing this for so long and many times have started to do so, only to take just a few days of pictures and then just stop because I missed a day. This time I am going to stick to it even if I miss a day, as I will try to let go of my perfectionist ways…

Anyways, as I was getting busier and happily shooting sessions of my newly found clients, editing and delivering the goodies and happiness I have slacked on doing the same for my family and I am truly ashamed of this. So I am getting back to basics and making myself remember why I have started this all and what was truly the inspiration for my little photog business.

In the beginning capturing life’s moments of my littles and our life together, our adventures and daily happening was what drove my passion for photography. And it made me want to bring this joy to all the others and be able to remember all the tiniest most important memories. Ahem… and not have them be left in the abyss of backup drives once you load the pictures from the camera.

So I am getting back to my passion, and recharging my photography engine.

Here is my little guy checking if the tree momma chose is up to his standards! It did pass the test and off it went home with us… not too soon, happy hubby had to ruin his outfit by rolling on the ground trying to cut down the monster stump first. The tree now resides in our living room all decorated and shiny!
